چکیده

The blind number theory was applied to define the blind numbers of the parameters of environmental system according to the characteristics of several kinds of uncertainties coexisting in water environmental system. Entropy coefficient method was calculate indicator weight based on the differences of water evaluation indicators and effectively solve the problems of weight calculation and effect of subjective factor. On this basis, A new model for water quality evaluation that is representative of overall water quality of river stretch was established based on water quality comprehensive index evaluation model. The results of simulation case study showed that comparing with the deterministic model is feasible and reliable.

Calculation of Leakage in Water Supply Network Based on Blind Source Separation Theory

The economic and environmental losses due to serious leakage in the urban water supply network have increased the effort to control the water leakage. However, current methods for leakage estimation are inaccurate leading to the development of ineffective leakage controls. Therefore, this study proposes a method based on the blind source separation theory (BSS) to calculate the leakage of water...

A multi agent method for cell formation with uncertain situation, based on information theory

This paper assumes the cell formation problem as a distributed decision network. It proposes an approach based on application and extension of information theory concepts, in order to analyze informational complexity in an agent- based system, due to interdependence between agents. Based on this approach, new quantitative concepts and definitions are proposed in order to measure the amount of t...

Modeling the Thermodynamic Properties of Solutions Containing Polymer and Electrolyte with New Local Composition Model

A new theory model based on the local composition concept (TNRF-modified NRTL (TNRF-mNRTL) model) was developed to express the short-range contribution of the excess Gibbs energy for the solutions containing polymer and electrolyte. An equation represented the activity coefficient of solvent was derived from the proposed excess Gibbs energy equation. The short-range contribution of interaction ...

Evaluation of monitoring network density using discrete entropy theory

The regional evaluation of monitoring stations for water resources can be of great importance due to its role in finding appropriate locations for stations, the maximum gathering of useful information and preventing the accumulation of unnecessary information and ultimately reducing the cost of data collection. Based on the theory of discrete entropy, this study analyzes the density of rain gag...
